Welcome to The Five Villages Hall.
After much planning, fund-raising and many meetings The Five Villages Hall was opened on 14th October 2021.
Obviously it’s a wonderful new building but importantly it’s predominantly a catalyst for the community, close and nearby, to engage in social, educational, sporting, cultural and group activities and events.
The building offers users a light, bright main hall, a compact activity room, a stage, a kitchen and bar which caters for many diverse events and activities from small meetings to weddings and all between.
Conveniently located just of the A41 at Backford, just north of the ancient city of Chester, the hall is easy to reach and offers a large car park surrounded by trees on three sides.
There’s much more to see on this site. Have a good look around!
The building is fitted with a hearing loop system and is fully accessible for our wheelchair visitors.
It provides an access ramp to the automatically opening front door beyond which in the porch area is a second automatically sliding door which leads to the foyer. A section of the bar top (in the foyer area) is at a height convenient for those in a wheelchair.
The WC for wheelchair users meets current guidelines with loo, hand basin and shower and an alarm pull if needed.
