Developing Outdoor Spaces

Since the new build we have started to re-cultivate the site’s outdoor spaces.

The rear (south) bank has been planted with shrubs and flowers, steps giving access to the bank have been installed as has a pergola and patio. A lovely spot to enjoy a cup of tea and a chat.

Over 300 hedging whips have been planted on the front banks which will help provide, in due course, a habitat for wildlife. Volunteers have planted saplings near the hall to enhance the overall environment.

The east bank area is being re-developed to create a useful space for adventure, recreation, perhaps raised flower / vegetable beds, picnic benches.
